Sherylee Ceccanti

Hi, I’m Sherylee Ceccanti, founder of SC Cabinetry & Design. Over the years, I had the chance to see how different companies approached cabinetry and customer service. While I learned a lot, I often found myself thinking about how things could be done more thoughtfully, with more attention to detail and a stronger focus on the client experience. That’s what inspired me to start SC Cabinetry & Design, a company built on quality, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping people create spaces they love.
My journey began when I joined a local door and millwork company, where I handled all of their cabinet design and sales. I spent years there learning the ins and outs of the industry and building strong relationships with clients and contractors. Eventually, I knew it was time to take a leap of faith and build something of my own. With the support of my incredibly encouraging husband, Mel, I launched this company in August 2021 and SC Cabinetry & Design’s first showroom opened off of Canyon Rd. in Puyallup.
Since then, our team has grown and our showroom too! In 2023, Angy Daniels joined me, turning SC Cabinetry from a one-woman show into a true team effort. That same year we outgrew our first small showroom and moved just three doors down to a larger space. In 2024, we welcomed Erin Gillenwater to the team. I feel so lucky to work alongside two amazing professionals who care about our clients as much as I do.
One of the driving forces behind SC Cabinetry was the need for a local showroom in Eastern Washington, where customers and builders no longer have to travel to Seattle or Spokane to explore cabinetry options. Thanks to the hard work of my team, we proudly opened our Chelan satellite showroom in February 2025 to better serve our growing customer base.
A little more about me: I’ve been married to my husband, Mel, for 14 wonderful years. He is the Vice President of Operations for a global aviation firefighting company, yet still finds time to help out at SC Cabinetry whenever he can. I’m the proud mom of three grown children, two amazing bonus kids and my son, who’s currently a senior at Washington State University. Go Cougs! I grew up in the tiny town of Ashford, just outside the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park, and I’ve called Pierce County home my entire life. I love baseball (Go Mariners, unless they’re playing the Angels!), enjoy hanging out with my two sweet fur-babies, Huey and Livvie, and getting to travel with my husband on some of his work trips.
